A word from our pastor

Come on in.

Our mission is to love God by loving his people. We invite you to come on in, enjoy worshiping God with us and make some new and lasting friendships!

Come as you are!

The church is a family made up of individuals and families from many backgrounds with a united purpose of coming to know God and discovering his will together for our lives.

Come to be cared about!

Our world and even the church can feel so impersonal at times. At Zion you will find people who care, a pastor whose door is always open to you and who will pray for you. If we can be a help to you here at Zion, we want to!

Come to know God in a personal way!

Here at Zion we have discovered a precious gift from God made possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ. This gift is more fully described in “The Bridge — God’s Gift.”

Come to dig deeper!

We have several opportunities to dig deeper in God’s Word through our worship services, Bible Study Groups, Sunday School Classes for all ages, Youth Group and Awana for children and teens and Confirmation, Baptism & Membership Classes.

Come to care for others!

Healthy faith is active faith and here at Zion you’ll find many opportunities to put your faith in action. If you’re one who likes to lend a hand let us know and we’ll be happy to put you to work for Christ and his Kingdom!

Come to heal hurts and renew hope!

Our sanctuary is open through the week for private prayer and meditation on God’s promises. Members of our church staff are eager to meet you right where you are and move forward with you to a stronger relationship with God and with others!

I’d sure like to meet you personally and would welcome a handshake or a phone call. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you!

With you for Christ and his Kingdom,

Pastor Andrew Griess

Every message Zion has recorded is kept in the library — book by book through John, Proverbs, Psalms, Romans and more, plus Christmas, Easter and our missionaries.

Our beliefs

Seven things we hold to.

Zion is a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. This is the ground we stand on.

In the Bible

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written.

In the Trinity

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

In Redemption

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

Serve with us

We are hiring.

Zion is looking for a full-time Associate Pastor of Worship & Family Ministries and a part-time Music Ministry Coordinator. If you feel called to one of these positions, we encourage you to apply.
